OK- it has been forever since I have updated this blog but I promise I will try and do so more often. Today was mostly spent on sending out auto ships. Just received both the Little House Peppermint Twist- just love the JABCO button to go with it- yummy enough to eat....I am so excited for the holiday season (can you tell I am very tired of this hot weather!) Also just released is the 6th chart in the Blackbird Anniversaries of the Heart series- this one is called Happy Birthday. This has been a great series and I can't wait to see the finished piece (if anyone is sewing this either as one piece or separate please let me know-would love to see pictures)

Nest up is the August SYHO from Ink Circles- this has a lot of people talking and she has designed a companion piece that uses the extra floss- can't wait for these to arrive! Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying their summer! Can't believe the kids start school in like 3 weeks....where does the time go??

July 4th

Wow I can not believe how fast this past few months have gone by! I know that today is the 4th of July but the big celebrations around here were yesterday. We had a great time at the parade and fireworks with the kids and most of my extended family. Today was a much more mellow day and I spent it with just the kids and my husband. I have not been very good at keeping up with my blog but will try harder- I also just started a page on facebook (under Wasatch Needlecraft) so will try and update smaller news there as well.

Not much planned for the week beyond work so nothing really excited to report except that it is my daughters 9th birthday on Tuesday- her party will be next Sat. She is having an art party since she has been so into drawing lately. I really am amazed at how good she is considering she has had no lessons and has just picked it up- I will need to try and get a picture from her tomorrow and post it. I really can not believe that she is nine already....how fast kids grow up! Why is it when they are babies we want and encourage them to grow, walk and do things on their own but once they are older we want them to stay babies forever? I am so proud of the person that she is becoming- truly a remarkable young lady in the works.

Hope everyone has a great week and I will talk to you soon-
